James Harlan Rowden, Sr., age 76 of Lascassas died Friday February 11. 2022 at his home. He was a native of Lawrence County and was preceded by his parents. Clarence Rowden and Christine Tate Rowden; daughter, Lisa Hendrix.

Mr. Rowden was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a retired Painter.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Inez Rowden; children, Jamie Smith and husband Larry, James H. Rowden, Jr. and wife Lisa; grandchildren; Brandy Johnson, Jennifer Young, Charles Burt and wife Andi, Marissa Phillips and husband Decoda, Dalton Rowden, Monica Schuster and husband Freddy, Alisha Champman and husband Alex, Frankie Smotherman and wife Lacey, 11 Great grandchild, Sisters; Linda Doyle and husband Johnny, Kay Hayes and husband Richard.
