James Robert Jim Crenshaw, age 87, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012. A native of Saltillo, Mississippi he was the son of the late Curtis and Flora Mae Gresham Crenshaw. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Mullins Crenshaw who passed away in 1999. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend John Hinkle and Reverend John Westlund will officiate. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Crenshaw is survived by his daughters and son-in-law; Rita (Bill) Shacklett of Murfreesboro, TN and Barbara Ann Crenshaw of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Opal Reynolds of Saltillo, MS and Mary Sue Vaughn of Verona, MS; and two granddaughters, Emily (Drew) Wilmesherr of Murfreesboro and Katie Shacklett of Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Crenshaw was a member at First Presbyterian Church where he was also an elder and a Sunday School Teacher. He was a veteran having served with the Army Air Corps in the European Theatre during World War II. He was a retired engineer with Arnold Engineering Development Center. Mr. Crenshaw had a passion for wood carving. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church (210 N.
