James Joseph "Jim" Posch, age 69, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed peacefully at his home on Monday evening, January 2, 2017. He was a native of Buffalo, New York and longtime resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Jim was preceded in death by his wife Kristine J. Posch and his parents, Adolph and Virginia Posch.

Mr. Posch is survived by his daughter, Amanda Leigh of Brooklyn, New York; son, Adam James and a grandson, Dean James of Owasso, Olahoma.  He is also survived by his sister, Diana Zajac and husband Timothy; brothers, Donald Posch and wife Mary, Thomas Posch and wife Amy, Philip Posch and wife Marilyn, and Russell Posch.  James is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
