James Ross "Bubba" Oakley, age 45 of Smyrna, died Monday at his home. He is survived by his wife Sherry Oakley; his mother, Ronda Garlits of Knoxville; his father and step-mother, Jim and Catherine Oakley of Mt. Juliet; sisters, Brenda Hatfield and her husband James Ross of LaVergne, Sandra Moses and her husband Kenny Dixon of Ashland City; mother in law, Barbara Waters of LaVergne and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 3:00p.m until the time of memorial services beginning at 5:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Phillip McGahey officiating.
