Obituary

JAMES EDMUND NARON age 85 of Murfreesboro, died Friday September 18, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James S. and Elsie Burchett Naron. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Naron and sisters, Louise Rogers and Ann Harrell. Mr. Naron is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mable Pope Naron, son and daughter in-law, Randy and Tamara Naron, a daughter, Sheryl Naron all of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, James Edmund Naron II and his wife Rachel, Jessica Lynn Harvey and her husband Joel, and Andrew Trout, great-grandchildren, Kaylee Grace Naron and Addison Lin Harvey. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Hill officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Naron was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Genesco, G.E., he was an insurance salesman for Life of Georgia, and Interstate Life. He was also assistant manager for 30 years with Travel Centers of America Truck Stops, and a store clerk at Krogers. The men of Temple Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
