James Michael "Mike" Mayhall, age 67, of Murfreesboro passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was a native of Corinth, MS and was preceded in death by his father, Vernon E. Grimes, Sr.

His memorial service will be at 2:00pm Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Barry Holt will officiate.

A second memorial service will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church, Corinth, MS. Dr. Kara Blackard and Bro. Mike Green will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn V. Rencher Mayhall, mother, Elsie L. Plaxico Grimes, daughters, Virginia Lee Mayhall-Mimms and her husband Eric, Leslie M. Gove and her husband Michael, grandchildren, Madelyn and Greyson Gove, brothers, Vernon E. Grimes, Jr. and James W. Grimes and his wife Laurie.

Mr. Mayhall was a retired Nuclear Engineer at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant.
