James Lannis Mayfield,age 55 formerly of Woodbury, died October 6, 2012 at his home in Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Davis Mayfield and father, J. C. Mayfield. Mr. Mayfield is survived by his mother, Mildred Busey Mayfield of Murfreesboro; brother, John Mayfield of Murfreesboro, and sister, Beverly Hardy of Joelton. There will be a visitation with the family on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Mayfield was a member of the Baptist Church and was a retired nurse.
