JAMES S. SAM LUTER, age 47 of Murfreesboro died Friday June 20, 2008 following a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Steffron James officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Luter is survived by his wife, Michele Carver Luter; son, Stephen N. Luter of Murfreesboro; mother, Judy Morgan Luter Dowlen of Antioch; sisters, Deborah Luter Roberts of Nashville, and Bonnie Gillenwater of FL; brother, John R. Buddy Luter of Nashville. He was preceded in death by his father John Luter, and step-father, L.M. Dowlen. Mr. Luter was a 1978 graduate of Antioch High School. He was the grounds and motor pool manager at MTSU. Family and friends will server as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
