James "Murf" Ward Lowe, age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, TN he was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin E. Lowe Sr. and Ettie Vassar Lowe; daughter, Cathy Jones; three brothers, Sewell Lowe, William A. "Bill" Lowe, and Ramsey Lowe; and sister, Jewell Brandon. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with entombment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Perry Muse and Rev. Chris Warren will officiate. Mr. Lowe is survived by his loving wife, Sudie Delbridge Lowe; sons, Doyle Lowe and his wife Joyce and Roger Lowe and his wife Vicki all of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, Sonya McCravy and her husband Steve, Bryan Lowe and his wife Judy, Jaime Lowe, Casey Lowe, Shea Jones and Kara Ramirez and her husband Mario; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Alvin E. Lowe Jr. and his wife Dorris and Rayburn Lowe all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Lowe was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retired truck driver. Bryan Lowe, Casey Lowe, Shea Jones, Charlie Bohn, Steve McCravy and Brett Lowe will serve as pallbearers.
