James Reno Jimmy Payne of Murfreesboro, TN. passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was a Jack of all trades, he was a friend to all, loved by many and lived his life to the fullest. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Elvia Payne and Reno and Lucille Robinson, his father Marvin Edwin Payne Sr., his brother Marvin Edwin Payne Jr. and his sister Pamela Ann. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tara Dawn Payne; mother, Jo Ann Payne; daughter and son in law, Ashley and Daniel Leonard; son and daughter in law, James Bubba and Jennifer Payne; grandson, James Dustin Payne; sister and brother in law, Cynd Lack and Fred Pelham; nephews, Charles Jett and Kristofer Pelham; nieces Danielle Pelham and Melissa Risner; and great nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Jimmy was a 1986 graduate of Riverdale High School. Jimmy spent five years in Gulfport, Mississippi offering aid and assistance with the Hurrican Katrina relief project. Pallbearers will be Bubba Payne, Kristofer Pelham, Charles Jett, Daniel Leonard, Roger Bland, Keith Davis, Jimmy Nippers, and Jeff Mitchem. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday and 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151
