January 15, 1952 – August 3, 2017
James Larry "Jim" Tudor, age 65, of Murfreesboro passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017. He was a native of Chattooga County, GA and the son of the late Lawrence Andrew "Doc" and Ruby Lee Parsons Tudor. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Richard "Sonny" Tudor, Billy Tudor, Maxine Henderson, Louise Wilson; loving wife of 34 years, Deborah Shields Tudor; wife, Deborah Webb Tudor; and grandchild, Julianna Reed.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm (CST) Monday, August 7, 2017 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Brian Harrell will officiate. Interment will be in Coleman Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Erica Reed and her husband Jason of Milton, Kathryn Leigh Walls and her husband Aaron of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Ashton Reed, Maura Reed, Naomi Walls; siblings, Maxine Anderson, Ruby Narmore, Raymond Tudor, Tommy Tudor, Waymond "Babe" Tudor; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Mr. Tudor served in the US Marines and the US Army National Guard and was a retired Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. He was a member and Deacon of Central Baptist Church in Long Beach, MS and Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. He also attended Waterville Baptist Church in Trion, GA and Ward's Grove Baptist Church in Milton, TN.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Walls, Jason Reed, Ashton Reed, brothers and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
