James W. "Jim" Eanes age 71 of LaVergne died Sunday December 8, 2013. He was a native of Nashville and was the son of the late, Joe Thomas Eanes, Ruby Ovie Edwards Eanes. Mr. Eanes was retired from Bridgestone in LaVergne. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Norman Jean Eanes; daughter, Lisa Hudson and Husband Mike of Smyrna; son, James Clinton "Jimbo" Eanes of LaVergne, grandchildren, Garrett Mastin of Smyrna, Jackson Saunders Eanes of Smyrna, Brandi Hudson of McMinnville; grea-grandson; Tucker White; sister, Pat Garrett and husband Clyde of Atlanta; brother, Robert Eanes and wife Dot of Nashville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Eanes to Alive Hospice. A celebration of Mr. Eanes life will be 3PM Saturday December 14, 2013 at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in LaVergne. Brother Jimmy Carver will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00PM until service time at the Church. Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna is in charge of arrangements.
