JAMES MAURICE IRVIN, age 74 of Woodbury died Sunday February 28, 2010. He was a native of Williamson County and the son of the late, Steven Arthur Irvin and Bertha Sanford Irvin. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Maurice Irvin, Mark Anthony and a grandson, Michael Wayne Wilson. Mr. Irvin was Baptist and a retired Truck Driver with Crosslin Supply. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Irvin; children, Mike (Martha) Irvin of LaVergne, Douglas (Stacey) Irvin of Tullahoma, Dianna Creader of Kansas, Cheryl Wilson of Nashville, and Anna Holt of Nashville; brothers, Sanford Irvin of Alabama, Arthur Irvin of Goodlettsville, and Paul Irvin of Smyrna; sister, Frances Glenn of Nashville, and Mattie Tagliente of Nashville; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Brother Wayne Kent will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
