James Lee Heath, Sr., age 71 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday December 21, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Dan Wilson and Ruby Clara Fields Heath, Sr. He was also preceded in death by two brother, Dan and Gary Heath, sister, Bell Ross, and a grandson, Cornelius Ealy. Mr. Heath is survived by one son, James Heath, Jr. of Woodbury, TN; daughters, Jammie Heath, Carol Heath Brown, and Sylvia Heath all of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Katherine Ross of Murfreesboro, TN and Lela Carter Shelton of Rockvale, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Moore, Stephaine Kitzmiller, Patrick and Austin Heath, Melvin Ealy, Samatha Lambert, Julius Brown, Ericka and Mya Isbell; nine great grandchildren, Cierra and Sophia Moore, Ace, Luke, and Joslyn Mendoza, Ryan Heath, Eli Prince, Annie, and Aiden Heath. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Oaklands Baptist Church, 530 N. Maney Ave. Murfreesboro, TN, with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Reverend Jim Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow in Whitworth Cemetery. Mr. Heath was a member of Oaklands Baptist Church and a retired truck driver.
