James Grim, age 71 of Smyrna, died Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was a native of Napoleon, Ohio and the son of the late Clarence "Cap" and Helen English Grim. Mr. Grim retired as an automotive design engineer for Scovill Manufacturing. He was an avid golfer and a tireless supporter of Vanderbilt athletics. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mardi Grim; a son Jeff Grim of Nashville; and two sisters, Patricia Fronce and husband Galen of Tampa, FL and Carol Thurman and husband Maury of Michigan.
