James Edward Fortenberry, age 62, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was a native of Clarksdale, MS and the son of the late James and Lillian Smith Fortenberry. He is survived by his wife, Mildred " Scooter" Manry, stepsons, Bradley Manry, Eric Gensimore and three grandchildren. Mr. Fortenberry was a United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam and an engineer with Cumberland Swan until his retirement.
