James Dunman, age 72 of Smyrna, died Sunday, December 23, 2018. He was born in Nashville to the late Buddy and Jenny Mae Dunman. He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patsey Dunman; children, David LaGrange and wife Peggy of Smyrna, James Dunman and wife Velvet of Benton, AR, Deveta Cook and husband Gary of Gallatin, Devi Jones and husband Chris of Portland; great grandchildren, Misty Price and husband Robert of Knoxville, Larry Bagwell and Fiancé Holly Sampsel of Virginia Beach, VA, David LaGrange, II and wife Lisa of Lebanon, Cody and Christopher Crook both of Gallatin, Dalton and Mattie Houston both of Portland; great grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Grace, and Amber LaGrange, Rebecca and Savannah Price, Nolan Bagwell, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a memorial service with military honors beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. An online guestbook is available for the Dunman family at www.woodfinchapel.com
