James Guy Duggin, age 83, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, August 12, 2011. He was a native of Cannon County and the son of the late Houston and Gertie Davenport Duggin. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Juanita Duggin, who died in 2009. Funeral service 11:00am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Mike Lamb will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Rick (Janet) Duggin of Murfreesboro, Fred Duggin of Nashville, and Ken Duggin of Murfreesboro, brother, Earl Duggin of Madisonville, KY, sister, Mazle Campbell of Shelbyville, Elizabeth Davenport of AL, and Nancy Duggin of CA, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mr. Duggin was a member of Westvue Church of Christ, a truck driver, farmer, and a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII.
