Services for James Robert Demonbreum, age 90 of Murfreesboro, who died Thursday March 15, 2018 are set for 2:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Murfreesboro.   The Rev. Joe Vinson will officiate.

Born in Wilder, Tennessee, he was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Shepard Demonbreum, Joe and Josie Demonbreum (parents), and six siblings.   He is survived by his sons Steven Demonbreum of Eugene, OR and Tim (Karen) Demonbreum of Murfreesboro, TN, and Cindy Demonbreum of Murfreesboro, TN.   Also, his two special cats Peanut and Magic.

Mr. Demonbreum was a member of Southeast Baptist Church for 48 years.  He was a twenty-six year Navy veteran and aviator who served during WW-II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.   He later went on to retire from Facilities Management at MTSU in 1993.  He was a Mason of over 50 years.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to Southeast Baptist Church or Beesley Animal Foundation in Murfreesboro, TN.

Visitation will be held at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN from 1:00 – 2:00pm Sunday, March 18, 2018.
