JAMES DANIEL DAN OSBORNE, age 61, of Murfreesboro died July 1, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was born in Trimble, Tennessee and was the son of the late W. T. & Thelma Harris Osborne. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Harriette Huey Osborne; daughter, Christy Lee Osborne of Murfreesboro; son, William Terrance Osborne of Murfreesboro; brother, Jerry D. Osborne, Dyersburg, Tn.; sister, Paula Denise Wilson, Fowlkes, Tn. Graveside services 3 pm Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family 1:00-2:45 pm Thursday. Mr. Osborne was a passionate career newsman with numerous radio stations including, WREC, WJWK, WSIX and CBS Worldwide News. He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.
