JAMES ALFRED CROOK, age 59 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday March 31, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a native of Castalian Springs, and was the son of the late, Noel and Delia Jones Crook. Mr. Crook was a retired Mechanic. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Miller Cemetery with Rev. John Hinkle, Jr. and Rev. Kaye Nickell officiating. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Holden Crook; sons, J.J. (Leslie) Crook of Murfreesboro, Scot (Kelley) Crook of Lebanon; daughter, Amanda Blalock (Chris) Long of Athens GA; sisters, Franny (Jimmy) Hamlet, Jackie (William) Donnell both of Lebanon, and Kay (Jeff) Sadler of Florida; mother-in-law, Martha Virginia Holden of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law, Steve (Becky) Holden of Fosterville; sister-in-law, Anita (Sam) Weatherspoon; grandchildren Hayden and Ava Crook, Lauren Hankins, Austin and Jordan Warrick. Pallbearers will be J.J. Crook, Scot Crook, Chris Long, Jimmy Hamlet, Tim Adams, Steve Holden, and Sam Weatherspoon.
