JAMES MATTHEW CHAMPION, SR. age 34 of Murfreesboro died Sunday January 9, 2011. He was native of Murfreesboro and had worked in construction as a Framer. Mr. Champion is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carlton Champion, Sr.; grandmother, Florence Williams. He is survived by his wife, Monica Champion; children, Tiffany Elaine and James Matthew Champion, Jr. all of McMinnville; parents, Donna and Mike Hauger of Murfreesboro; brother, Gary Pinkston of Cookeville; sister, Lisa Bentley Pinkston of Woodbury; grandparents, Harry and Betty Hauger of Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Champion at any Regions Bank. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
