James Morris Broyles, age 68 of Readyville, TN, passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at his home. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Martin and Dera Arnie Eaton Broyles. Mr. Broyles is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marsha Lowe Broyles; sons, Stephen Broyles, and his wife Angela of Readyville, TN, and Wayland Broyles, and his wife Maridath of Manchester, TN; brother, Jerry Broyles of Christiana, TN; grandchildren, McClain, Seth, Tyler, and Jacob Broyles. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Danny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Shelton Cemetery with military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Broyles was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a farmer, a bus driver for the Rutherford County school system, and a minister. Mr. Broyles served as Pastor of many Baptist churches including, Hopewell Baptist, Chestnut Grove Baptist, Wilson Hill Baptist. He was also a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.
