James "Troy" Bell, age 64, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Olen and Juanita Jamerson Bell; brother, Thomas Bell; aunt, Narene Davidson and Dot Arnette; and uncle, Eugene Bell.

He is survived by his brother, Todd Bell; nephew, Dylan Bell; and aunt, Frances Johnson.

Troy was a native of Rutherford County and long time member of Rutherford County Square Dancing Club. His dancing took him all over the country and parts of Europe. He loved everything about traveling, nature, and Rutherford County history. He also ran Nashville Marine boat store and installed cash register systems with Data Cash Registers for several years.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 1, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
