JACKYE L. CAREY, age 77 of Murfreesboro died Monday October 4, 2010. She was a native of Danville Kentucky and was daughter of the late, Nathan Jack and Nanny Smith Smithers. Mrs. Carey was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and was the First Female Real Estate Broker in Murfreesboro. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William R. Bill Carey, Sr.; son William R. Carey, Jr. and wife Libby of Murfreesboro; grandson Rev. W. R. Trey Carey III and wife Abby of Montgomery Alabama; great-granddaughter Lilley Carey. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Rev. L.C. Troutt, Dr. Jim Clardy and Rev. George Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
