Jackie S. Jones, age 73, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. A native of Putnam County, TN she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ora Thompson. She was also preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Darryl Lewis and Bud Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her loving husband, Truman Jones; two sons, Jason Jones and Barry R. Jones and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Tyler, Landon, Abby and Truman Russell Jones all of Murfreesboro; three brothers; five sisters; along with many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones was a member of Southeast Baptist Church. She was a retired Operations Manager with Murfreesboro Electric Department. Mrs. Jones enjoyed gardening, camping, and taking photographs. She was known to be very creative, something she took much pride in and had a servant heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
