Obituary

Jack Richards, age 64 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Seneca, SC, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Clayton, GA as a result of injuries received in a car accident. He was born in Baltimore, MD and the son of the late Walter John and Sara Elizabeth Richards, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Sarah Dominici Richards and a brother in law John Brauning. Mr. Richards is survived by his son Nathan Richards of Murfreesboro; a sister Karen Chronister and her husband Lee of Hanover, PA; nephews Kegan Brauning, his wife Michele and their children Garett and Josephine of Littlestown, PA and Jeremy Brauning, his wife Petra and their daughter Sierra of Hanover, PA; as well as numerous cousins and other loving family. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Emmitsburg, MD and received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1971. He had 41 years of service with Schneider Electric where he worked as an engineer. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 3:00pm until the time of funeral services beginning at 4:00pm in the Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with burial following in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Littlestown, PA under the direction of Little's Funeral Home.
