First Sergeant, E-8, Jack F. Lehnhart, age 81, of Springhill, TN went to be with his Lord Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Home. A native of Bellville, OH he was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick W. and Martha E. Stahl Lehnhart; brother, Jerry Lehnhart; sister, Lillian Brumenshenkel; and daughter-in-law, Donna Lehnhart. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Lehnhart is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy Lehnhart; sons, Kenneth John Lehnhart of Covington, GA and Jim Lehnhart and his fiancé Rachel and son Trevor of Springhill, TN; sister, LaDonna O'Neal of Bellville, OH; brother, Jim Lehnhart and his wife Linda of Lexington, OH; grandchildren, Jordan Lehnhart and his wife Haylee of Summertown, TN; and great grandchildren, Haven and Jaden Lehnhart of Summertown, TN. Mr. Lehnhart was a 1950 graduate of Bellville High School. He served with the United States Army in the Korean War and Vietnam War before retiring after 20 years. Mr. Lehnhart was devoted to his bible study and also loved gardening and playing golf. Romans 8:28-30. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
