John Thomas "Jack" Lannom, age 80 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Saturday June 7, 2014. He was born in Royal Oak, MI, but lived most of his life in Rutherford County. Mr. Lannom was the son of the late Roy and Hilda Rivers Lannom. Mr. Lannom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Yates Lannom; son, Chuck Lannom and his wife Becky; daughter, Teresa Lannom Burnett and her husband Tony; grandson, Thomas Burnett and his wife Jessie; great-grandson, Ethan all of Mt. Juliet, TN. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Living Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Hick officiating. Burial will follow in the Lannom Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers . Mr. Lannom was a member of Living Springs Baptist Church, and retired from the Ford Glass Plant after 32 years of service. The family would like to thank the staff of Life Care Center of Hickory Woods for their love and care for Mr. Lannom.
