Jack Howard Kalish, born December 9, 1952, left this world for his heavenly home on April 15, 2016 after a 15 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Even in sickness he never once complained.

His positive outlook on life carried him through to his death.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Arthur and Natalie Kalish. He leaves behind wife of 40 years, Debbie Kalish; daughters, Alissa Kalish and her partner Gretchen Woodruff, Jessica Dwight and husband Cody; grandson, Sully Cooper Dwight; sister, Evelyn Bilunka and husband Steve and two nephews, Michael Armentano and wife Yasmira (Dahan), John Armentano.

Mr. Kalish  was a loving and devoted family man, a music enthusiast, hard worker, lover of people, and most important to him, self-proclaimed comedian. His sweet, generous and infectious spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of his life will be Sunday at 3:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Rev. Joel Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will follow the service until 5:00PM.
