Mrs. J. Lee Willis, age 81, of Smyrna, went to be with the lord Monday, August 4, 2014. A native of Statesville, TN she was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Hessie Moore Hale; brother, John Robert Grigg; and sister, Mary M. Hale. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Dennis Carroll will officiate. Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Linda Boyce of Norene, TN; son, Lonnie Tolbert and his wife Karen of Murfreesboro; daughter, Lee Ann Hensley of Carthage, TN; son, Lynn Summers and his wife Lisa of LaVergne, TN; and daughter, Marie Barrett and her husband Bobby of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Michelle Baird, Sherrie Huskey, Michael Nichols, Jessica Murphy and Devin and Bobby Barrett III, Tonya, Jeremy and Chad Boyce, Mandi and Savannah Tolbert, Marissa, Amber and Tiffany Summers, and Terry Hensley. Mrs. Willis was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She was retired and had worked as a care giver for Family Staffing. She enjoyed doing word searches and was a mother to everyone and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Research. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
