J. B. SMITH age 75 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Friday May 28, 2010. A native of Bedford County, he was the son of the late Stephen and Sally Pate Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Wright Smith, brother, Curtis Smith and sister, Virgie Mooneyham. Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter and son in law, Pam and Tim Holden, granddaughter, Coreen Holden King and her husband Seth; great grandson, Owen King all of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Christine Mallard and Mary Ruth Milligan both of Shelbyville, TN, Marie Bowen of Murfreesboro, TN, and Ruby Smith of Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Saturday May 29, 2010 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Charles Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Smith was a Baptist and was retired from Cummings Sign Co. Pallbearers will be Mike, Mark, and Mitchell Mooneyham, Barry and Mark Lowe, and Seth King.
