Iva Bea Johnson Fitzgerald , age 81, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on September 19, 2014. A native of Murfreesboro, she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Lula Hargrove. She is also preceded in death by her first husband of 52 years, William H. Johnson, Sr. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with John Tipton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Bea is survived by her husband of 11 years, John T. Fitzgerald; children, William H. Johnson, Jr. (Cheri) of Kenai, AK; Edwin H. Johnson of Fallon, NV; Judy M. Leverette (Doug) of Murfreesboro; Peggy M. Stephens of Murfreesboro; Step-children; Kenneth Fitzgerald (Mary Ann); Kathy Bell (Steve); Teresa Fitzgerald; Randall Fitzgerald; Lee Fitzgerald (Holly); Edwin Fitzgerald (Carrie) all of Murfreesboro. She had 10 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great grandchildren. Bea was a member of the Bible Church of Jesus where she served as Church Secretary and Youth Group Leader for many years. Visitation will be at 4pm until 8pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
