Dr. Islam Gurabardhi, age 87 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024. A native of Len Martanesh, Albania, he was the son of the late Ali Gurabardhi and Zelije Plloci Gurabardhi. Dr. Gurabardhi was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Dr. Gurabardhi is survived by his wife, Hedije Puka Gurabardhi; son, Genci Gurabardhi of Sterling Heights, MI; daughter Gentiana Christopher of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jasmine (Joshua) Turow, Adam Gurabardhi, Alex Christopher, and Gabriella Christopher; great-grandchildren, Joshua Turow and Jeremiah Turow; one brother and one sister.

Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, November 22, 2024, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
