Isabella Scott Gilfillan Adamson, age 87, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023. A native of Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William and Isabella Scott Gilfillan. She was also preceded in death by many siblings.

Mrs. Adamson is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Adamson; daughters, Sandra Hunt and her husband Chip of Murfreesboro, TN and Sheila Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Keith Adamson of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, James Adamson and his wife Mindy, Evan Wilson, Andrew Hunt and his wife Jacquelin, Katherine Kessler and her husband Clay and Spencer Hunt; great- grandson, Joshua Adamson, and her loving dog Duffy.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Mapleview Cemetery with Tony Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Traditions of Smyrna and Gentive Hospice for their exceptional care for Mrs. Adamson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mrs. Adamson.
