Irvin Wayne "Irv" Carbiener , age 81 of Murfreesboro, TN, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. A native of Cedar Falls, IA, he was the son of the late Edward and Adeline Kiehn Carbiener. Mr. Carbiener was also preceded in death by his brothers Marvin and Robert Carbiener.

Mr. Carbiener is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Bunger Carbiener; daughters, Shelly Molitor and her husband Chad of Murfreesboro, TN and Nichole Scheffler and her husband Ken of Rockvale, TN; son, Jeff Carbiener and his wife Karen of Richardson, TX; brother, Norm Carbiener of Geneseo, IL; sister, Darlene Westcott of Cresco, IA; grandchildren, Parker and Bree Molitor, Tira Prater, and Bennet Scheffler; great-grandchildren, Ian, Heidi, and Laine Molitor.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday at Franklin Road Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Franklin Road Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Carbiener was a faithful member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and a retired educator.
