ELSIE IRENE HARRELL, age 90, of Dilton died Wednesday, September 8, 2010. A native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Nina Youree Jones. Mrs. Harrell was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. Harrell, Sr., two daughters, Barbara Jean Harrell and Mary Susan Graddy, a brother, Howard Jones, and a sister, Sue James all of Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be 10:30am Saturday at Dilton Church of Christ with Tony Arnold and Jerry Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrell Cemetery at Dilton. Nephews and men of the Dilton Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Harrell is survived by one daughter, Jo Anne (Sammie) Kelton of Dilton, one son, Billy (Chris) Harrell, one grandson, Andy (Denise) Harrell, two great-granddaughters, Hannah and Hailey Harrell, all of Christiana, and one brother, John (Margaret Lee) Jones of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Harrell was devoted to her Lords church, her family, and was a lifelong care-giver to others. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the mission fund of Dilton Church of Christ in memory of Mrs. Harrell.
