Imogene Clark Waldron, age 86, a long time a resident of Smyrna and Murfreesboro, died Sunday, December 16, 2012. A native of Hickman County she was preceded in death by her parents John W. Clark and Orpha (Myatt) Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Everett Jr. who died in 1998. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Teb Batey will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Waldron is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Everett Waldron and his wife Brenda of Murfreesboro, TN, Steve Waldron and his wife Gerry of Murfreesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Maxwell and her husband Paul of Brentwood, TN; two sisters, Bonnie Arnett of Murfreesboro and Jewell Victory of Smyrna, TN; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Lester Weems Clark and his wife Ann of Buchanan, TN, John Martin Clark of Smyrna, TN and Herman Wayne Clark and his wife Wilda of Rockvale; Bess Waldron Clopton of Nashville and Pauline Waldron Bresslin of Sunnyvale, CA; six grandchildren, Robert Rob Waldron of Seattle, WA; Shelba Waldron and her husband Wayne of St. Petersburg, FL; Christina Conlin and her husband Rob of Cincinnati, OH; Seth Maxwell and his wife Elizabeth of Brentwood, TN; Jessica Jennings and her husband Ty of Nashville and Maggie Parsley and her husband Ben of Murfreesboro, 10 great grandchildren and a very close cousin, Robert Gossett of Smyrna. Mrs. Waldron was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a 1943 graduate of Smyrna High School and was a retired nurse with Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Waldron was a hard worker and loved to laugh. She was a fabulous southern cook and she adored her great grandchildren. Her grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
