Imogene Fitts French Hall , age 96 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday December 6, 2015. A native of Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank Orus and Beatrice Thompson Fitts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William D. Hall, brothers, Robert O. and John H. Fitts, and a grandson, Micheal L. Heath.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughters, Carole Willis and her husband Bob of Hillsboro, TN, Marsha Lynch and her husband Dick of Marion, IA, and Claudia Duke and her husband Sammy of Franklin, TN; son, William Alan Hall and his wife Linda of Lascassas, TN; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 pm noon until 2:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Dr. Noel Schoonmaker and Dr. Eugene Cotey will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with grandsons, sons-in-law, and nephews serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Harris School of Art in Franklin, TN, and a life time member of the Murfreesboro Art League. She gave art lessons in her home for many years. Mrs. Hall was an active member of First Baptist Church Murfreesboro, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and served as president of the WMU.
