IMOGENE PINKERTON DeGEORGE, age 85, of Murfreesboro, died August 14, 2011. She was a native of Old Hickory, TN, and daughter of the late Nathaniel and Clara Bowen Pinkerton. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Burial will be Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. DeGeorge is survived by her children, Rosa Erickson, Hickory, NC, Sam DeGeorge, Murfreesboro, Donna (Steve) Sloan, Olive Branch, MS, Cindy (Stan) Nance. Murfreesboro; brother, Charles Pinkerton, Murfreesboro; sister, Dorothy Duggin, Bartlett, TN; four grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. DeGeorge was married to the late Vincent DeGeorge who died in 2008. Mrs. DeGeorge was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was a retired employee of A.L. Smith Drug Store and Commerce Union Bank. She was a 1944 graduate of Lascassas High School. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
