IEDD THOMAS, age 93, of Nashville, died Monday, April 13, 2009. She was a native of Cannon County and the daughter of the late Charles C. and Earsie Blanton Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas and son, Paul L. Thomas. Funeral services will be 10:30am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Leonard Rader will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, James H. Thomas of Murfreesboro, Charles E. Thomas of Blackman, Billy A. Thomas of Portland, David L. Thomas of Nashville, daughters, Bonnie J. Dotson of Nashville, Betty J. Cripps of Hermitage, Mary A. Crook of Goodlettsville, sister, Maude Patrick of Kittrell, brother, Ed Johnson of Indiana, 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
