HUGHES WHITED, age 71 of Murfreesboro died Thursday. He was a native of Whitville TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Whited, and parents, Murphy Howell and Ida Bell Hughes Whited. Mr. Whited was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and retired from Samsonite. He is survived by his son, Britt Whited and wife Sue of Murfreesboro; daughter, E. Annette Jones of Missouri; grandchildren, Brittany and B.J. Whited. Funeral service will be 11AM Saturday at Stones River Baptist Church with Dr. Ross Maroney officiating.
