DEATH NOTICE DEATH NOTICE HUGH J. GEORGE, age 76, died March 26, 2010. Mr. George was a native of Davidson Co. and son of the late H. J. and Nettie George. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with burial in the Town Cemetery in Smithville, TN. Mr. George is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sammie Foster George; sons Jeff (Kim) George and Mike (Robin) George; grandchildren, Rhiannon Huffman, Patrick Vest, Kayla George, and Chad George; three sisters, Violet Alexander of Louisiana, Lois (Jack) Sloan of Nashville, and Myrna Miller of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. George was a member of Riggs Church of Christ and was retired from Kraft Corporation after 36 years in sales. Pallbearers will be Jeff George, Patrick Vest, Mike George, Chad George, Carney Miller, and Kenny Baltimore. Memorials in memory of Mr. George may be made to Caris Healthcare.
