Hubert David Snell, age 55 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Murfreesboro and a son of the late Hubert Snell and Becky Teeters Snell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by maternal grandparents, Vivian Teeters and Clara Huddleston Teeters; and paternal grandparents, Frank Snell and Mattie Jernigan Snell; and a brother, Francis Michael Snell.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Suzanne Vaughan; a sister, Kathy Snell of Murfreesboro; a brother, Paul Houston Snell and wife Anita; and a nephew, Nathaniel Paul Snell, all of Smithville; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. Snell was a member of the Blackman Church of Christ and retired as a truck driver from McCormick Trucking.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A cousin, Bro. Ben Austin will officiate.
