HUBERT E. COUNCIL, age 80, died July 31, 2010. He was a native of Rutherford Co. and son of the late Clennin E. and Nannie Lou Lane Council. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Frank Leptri officiating. Burial will be in Triune Cemetery. Mr. Council is survived by daughters, Jolene Graham, Murfreesboro, Johnnie Faye Roberson, Smyrna, and Linda June Williams, Smyrna; sons, James Ewing Council, Shelbyville and Hubert Randall Council, Arrington; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; brothers, William Council, Triune, James Council, Smyrna, and Ruric Council, Smyrna; and a sister, Mildred Roberson, Smyrna. He was married to the late Mary Ruth Council. Mr. Council was a veteran of the Army and a retired auto parts store manager.
