Howard Grant Tillery, age 73, of Murfreesboro passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019. He was a native of Knoxville, TN and the son of the late Carl A. Tillery and Anna Marie Harbin Tillery. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Tillery, Jr. and sister, Betty Boles.

Funeral service will be 6:30pm Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 4286 Sulphur Springs Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Jamison, daughters, Jennifer (Michael) Faauaa, Angelina (Tim) Handley, both of Murfreesboro, brother, Steve Tillery of Knoxville, grandchildren, Ariel Faauaa, Erin Faauaa, Mallory Golliher, Christa Icobelli, Isabella Handley, Hunter Handley, great grandchildren, Aaric Icobelli, Damian Icobelli and a niece, Gail Tatum.

Mr. Tillery was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a retired Security Officer.

Memorials may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Building Fund in his memory.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Bethel United Methodist Church.
