Homer Woods Davenport, 13 month old son of Christopher Kent Davenport and Bethann Kelley of Rockvale passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014. Woods is also survived by his sister, Scout Davenport, grandparents, Tim and Rose Davenport, Tammy and Jeff Hite, Lori and Richard Knauber and Michelle Childs, great grandparents, Homer and Greta Brown, Grigg and Sarah Davenport, Rose Stevens, Sue and Charlie Steele. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westbrooks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone plant a hardwood tree and help them create Woods so that his memory will last forever.
