HILDA NORVELL SMITH, age 94, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, October 16, 2010. She was a native of Bells, TN and the daughter of the late Robert and Nannie B. Pigg Norvell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Mitchell Smith who died in 2001. Memorial service will be 4:00pm Monday at First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Emily and Jerry Baxter Jackson, Jr of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Jay (Priscilla) Jackson, III, Jeffrey Mitchell (Terra) Jackson all of Murfreesboro, great grandchildren, Raegen Grace Jackson, J. Baxter Jackson, IV, Savannah Jo Jackson, and Shelby Reese Jackson, all of Murfreesboro. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
