Hilda G. Patrick-Burns, age 77, of Nashville, died July 12, 2014. She was a native of Tracy City, TN, and daughter of the late Elbert F. and Delia Meeks Patrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband Homer Wray Burns who died in 2012. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Castleberry officiating. Burial will be in The Burns Family Cemetery at Rockvale. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Wednesday until time of services at 11:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Burns is survived by a daughter, Amye A. Tynes of Kentucky; step children, Garry Burns and his wife Amy Lynn of Gallitan, Jerry Burns and his wife Yvonne of Alabama, Mike Burns and his wife Donna of Hendersonville, Homer Martin Burns and his wife Judy of Texas, Donna Smith and her husband Larry of Charlotte, and Janice Sadler of Bellevue. Mrs. Burns attended Woodbine Baptist Church and was a retired secretary for the State of Tennessee. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Condolences may be made at www.woodfinchapel.com.
