HILDA ANN HARVEY, age 70, of Smyrna, formerly of West Terre Haute, IN died Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Nashville after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Shepardsville, IN to the late Harvey and Lucille Haltom Brockmeier. Memorial services and Celebration of her life will be 5:30pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Kevin Dye will officiate. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph and Wendy Harvey of Murfreesboro, James and Linda Harvey of Tecumseh, IN, daughters and son-in-law: Mary Poteete of Murfreesboro, Becky and Joe Davis of Indianapolis, IN, brother: Fred Brockmeier of New Goshen, IN, sisters: Phillis Jenkins of Columbus, IN, Mary Zimmerman of Rockville, IN, Ruth Harney of Terre Haute, IN, and Cathy Martindale of Smyrna, TN, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Ms. Harvey was retired from Whirlpool in Lavergne with 15 years of service. She served 3 years on the Literacy Council and 3 years as Secretary at Cedar Creek Academy in Nashville.
